Sonic youth is a weird one for me cause some songs i absolutely luv but others i hate..
What i do love about Sonic youth is how at the beginning all their guitar feedback and imposing noise with time start to become melodic the more familiar you get with the band.
Not that i wanna compare bands or anything but because of bands like Sonic Youth i now enjoy bands like Deerhoof Cause they sorta prepared me with those loud ass guitar effects lol
i luv the Sonic youth songs that Kim narrates, like Tunic or bull in the heather..
their so.. weird lol
like abstract feminist poems with distorted guitars as background..
I know what she is talking about but at the same time idk what the hell she's talking about
