Blooz, come on it is obvious you have never studied the scriptures for yourself. In the bible there was only one apostle and that was Paul formerly named Saul in the new testiment. And he is the one who explains what the meaning of the new testiment was. I could throw scriptures around all day cause I know them all but that would be fruitless. All the scriptures from around the world say God is UNCONDITIONAL love, do you fully understand what that means? If there was a heaven and hell after you die what kind of bull sh## god would send you to hell because you got drunk or had sex I would tell that God to go f#ck himself. Acording to your belief you can be a good person, feed the poor, help everyone you come in contact with and God going to send you to hell because you got drunk, hahahahahaha! Jesus got crucified next to a thief and Jesus told him he would be with him in paradise today. The new testiment even says the the law of Moses is no more, it is all summed up in love thy neighbor as yourself. And you don't need the bible to understand God, we are born with his spirit, and now we have realtime guidance..... Positive emotions and negative emotions. Positive feels good and negative doesn't.
If you lived by the old testament you would have to stone prostitutes to death. Jesus had the mind of God and unconditional love for everyone. You need to come out of the religious interpretation of the bible there is no peace there. Start thinking for yourself, and trust in yourself. You ever notice that something doesn't feel right about the religious interpretation of God that live by law. Like Paul said " if righteousness come by law Christ is dead in vain"
