Whats suppose to set them apart is living as christ like as possible since he was without sin. Since were all human and incapable of this, this was why jesus was sent to the cross to die for our sins yes? At the same time continuing to make concious decisions to indulge in the sins of the world is not what christianity really intended is it? Wheres the incentive for christians to behave any differently...well I guess heaven. I guess what I should ask is where is their incentive not to behave like that? That answer being hell, yes? Why would there even be a hell just for the ones who choose not to believe?
