Quite annoyed as I watched this online via the official 'Ultraviolet' system where you can watch it legally after purchasing the DVD but it was so pixellated in parts that it was unwatchable.

I really dislike watching any movie on my laptop in the first place as it's just not right watching a film on such a small screen so I may be biased but this just didn't grab me at all. Bane was an interesting character but his demise? Too quick and not memorable enough. A second viewing on DVD will hopefully change my mind.

What's not to like? Amazing fight scenes, cinematography and music but the main character looked far too much like Tony Jaa to me which I think was absolutely intentional and a couple of fight scenes went on far too long regarding the punishment the human body can take.

However it still has more action and energy than a dozen blockbusters and who would have thought that a geeky looking Welsh guy wrote, edited and directed such a film? I still can't make the connection.
