Well I only hear the horror stories really, of people being stabbed etc. People say those things about Glasgow and most other Scottish towns and cities too but the difference is I know what areas up here are scummy and dodgy and so avoid them. I just tread carefully and try not to step on anyone's toes when I'm in an unfamiliar area. You just never know who you will cross.
