Try that then select the option 'Itunes (or whatever library you use) manages my Ipod' on the diagnostics screen underneath the 'Help' heading on the scrobbler.
That should instantly read your scrobbles as soon as you sync your Ipod. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to suggest, sorry.
