Is there any particular reason for this? I don't really see what is so bad about bands such as Korn or Slipknot, or the like. In fact, they're some of my favorite bands.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I just find a lot of nu-metal boring. Like any genre, it's not
all bad. There are songs here and there that I like, but I can't think of any nu-metal
albums that are great all the way through. To me that doesn't speak very well of it as a style of music.
