Oh I mean the actual scent. The projection and all of that is nuts. It's heavy and loud and sweet, and yet the scent itself feels thin. It's bizarre. I'm actually trying out a Lutens now. Santal de Mysore in fact. I tried it years ago when I was first getting into fragrances, and all it smelled like to me was pure sandalwood. Now I'm getting all the other facets, especially cumin and cinnamon. I also get a sort of caramel note, which I really enjoy. I'm not sure it's decant worthy, but I like it. I really wanna try ChĂȘne too, since I'm curious as to what a scent based around oak would be like.
