I like supernatural horror more than slasher horror too, and because of that I had wanted to see The Exorcist for many, many years. I finally got around to it in my mid-twenties, I was sorely disappointed. I found a lot of the acting pretty poor actually and a lot of the movie just flat out dull, except for the possession scenes which I found hilariously funny.
