No you can't, lycanthropy makes you 100% resistent to disease so you wouldn't be able to catch sanguine vampris. As far as playing a vampire, their only real advantage that doesn't make the game waaaay to hard is your illusion spells are 25% stronger, so if you're playing a stealth based character it's pretty useful.
