I'm one of those mix cd people since my cassette player is busted and i have no aux jack so iPod is not a possibility. Music definitely augments driving experiences nicely. For me, "Souvlaki Space Station" by Slowdive serves as awesome freeway music, while "Dixie Cannonball" by Jenks 'Tex' Carman does the job for getting me excited about a new drive. Animal Collective and Hunx and His Punx hold a special position next to Ronettes and Tammys for most sung along.
