Well, it's hard to be absolutely sure about anything, but since all evidence so far shows us consciousness is generated in our nervous brain tissue and bacteria have no such tissue, I assume that they don't.
You've also been a single cell once. Can you remember much from those days? Or, according to your own definition of life, were you even alive then?
