Also, does the Bill Me Later thing have no (or low) interest or something? If not, I don't see the difference between going that route over putting it on your card unless you have a low limit, in which case being too close to it is bad for your credit regardless of never missing a payment.

I've had my card for about 6 years now and while I haven't missed payments, my limit is only $500. I've been meaning to go into the bank and have them up it, but as I said, I only use the thing for small purchases so it's not really top on my priority list. I'll probably just end up using my tax return to buy my new PC, but if nothing else this has definitely gotten my ass in gear to get my credit situation to a better place, and not a moment to soon as my career prospects relies on having a steady credit history.
