Um... 6 years without a missed (or late) payment = good credit, regardless of your limit. Something is wrong with this picture. You should have no problem doing Bill Me Later.
Also, with that kind of track record, you can (and should) easily ask the CC company to increase your limit. Not because you want to buy more stuff, but because it's beneficial to your FICO score.
I'm serious. Monday, call your CC company and tell them you want a limit increase. If they turn you down, then something is wrong here. Normally CC companies do this sort of thing automatically with your kind of history. I'm pretty surprised you've had a 500 limit for 6 years, honestly. That's rare, to put it mildly.
