OK, I was intending to post this to the "What jazz album are you listening to" thread in the jazz forum, but as things turned out I came up with a splendid demonstration of the stellar audio performance of belt-driven turntables.

In my search to find a YouTube of the specific jazz album I wanted to post to that thread, this was typical of what I found, all the videos posted were by the same person. I don't know what turntable & transfer system he/she was using (to the best of my knowledge this music was never released on CD) but the audio quality just didn't satisfy me

So I used my own vinyl-to-digital transfer of the same album & song, and uploaded it to YouTube. Again I don't know what he/she used but I recorded this from a Rega P25 belt drive turntable. From a 30 year old record. You decide....
