I do appreciate that it's a little bit of a drop from the White Album, but I think that's exaggerated because of the trash that the Beatles talked about it, which I don't think was totally objective.

It's funny, but when I discovered the band a few years ago, in my mid-20s, it was the early stuff I connected to first. Which is strange, really, as I came from a metal/prog rock mentality. The latter half of their career is of course superior, but I can't rate "A Hard Days' Night" anything less than stellar.
