There maybe some underlying theme to music that people listen to (experimental, originality, melancholic etc) but I will play the age card and say that most people who still love music past their 30's and are open minded can't really be pigeon holed to being a particular characteristic type. Janszoon, Bob, Urban and myself all come from a Rock/Metal background in our youth but you will find us ridiculously open minded and will throw albums at you that are a complete curveball to the perception of how we look or what our favourite bands are.
