I made a whole thread on this in another forum cause I had the exact same thought go through my head: "can you respect someone who has killed innocents in order to accomplish a goal?"
people go, "Oh no Dorner's a piece of ****, Che's rotting in hell", but of course you bring up something pro-American, like nuking Japan, and it's suddenly ok in their mind.
