It just goes on and on. I don't terribly mind that the meat is horse (would mind now if it was human!) but the meat has also tested positive for drugs that were administered to horses. That's scary!

You guys in the US are lucky (so far). Nobody will be eating meat in Europe soon if this doesn't get sorted...
In a months time, everybody will forget all this and revert back to their regular eating habits. Most of the stuff that the consumer buys in the supermarket, has come under some kind of health scrutiny at one time or another.
