This is the first thing I've listened to by Sunset Rubdown. I've never known much about them but recently became interested while browsing Jagjaguwar's catalog. I decided to listen to this album first even though it's on a different label. I learned that they're fronted by Spencer Krug of Wolf Parade - a band I was never really a fan of. I also recently heard an album by his Moonface project ( With Siinai: Heartbreaking Bravery) which I really enjoyed. I like this album, much more than Wolf Parade's debut which is the only one I've heard. I'll have to check out Sunset Rubdown's other releases. Lots of prog elements mixed with indie rock.

And how good is the guitar solos on the last track? Air guitar every single time.
Just started listening to this...
Beams - Matthew Dear
Funky, synth indie singer-songwriter. I dig.
