I wanna know who the ******* is that started the trend in emo/screamo of having ridiculously long album/song-titles/band-names. And why. What a bastard.
As for the record, it's hard for me to listen to most emo/screamo without thinking, dude, seriously? Sure, those twinkly guitar bits and blasts of drumming are pretty rad but it just all starts sounding samey. As a fan of pop punk... That generally isn't a problem. But it also starts to sound fake and/or pretentious after a while too. Especially the lyrics. "launched one thousand beats of my heart", guh... who wants that? Snowing used to be one of my favorite bands cuz they had all the musical stuff and emotion but they weren't so serious about, it was pretty obvious they were making fun of themselves. I used to love this stuff, I've just outgrown it I guess.
