Even though I am still young, I welcome it with open arms, if it's time for me to go, than so be it. There is something else attached to our being, I don't think life comes to an end, it's when you are at peace.
The only reason I fear it is the impact it has on the living, it hurts to lose someone.
The human body is fragile, as djc pointed out, it can happen at anytime, but you don't know when. If you are conscious of death, of course you will fear it, it hurts to think that it comes to an end, because when you think of it, you associate it with all the great things in your life.
Don't think to far ahead, because even though the days go by, time is nothing but a man made concept that is meant to keep us on a straight line. Look at it as a plain, live and explore, be fearless and live in this crazy f'ed up beautiful world with the rest however you want to. We all know it comes to an end, but why fear it, if it's inevitable.
