Rx Bandits - Mandala (2009)
A really interesting mix of styles; Rx Bandits used to be a ska band, but I guess over time they went in a more progressive direction, leading us to what we hear here. The playing is really tight and clean, and the guitars and vocals almost remind me of the Mars Volta sometimes. I really dig the ska and post-hardcore flavors left over from their earlier material
Favorite tracks: It's only Another Parsec, Hope is a Butterfly etc, Bury it Down Low
