Default List your favorite slow songs/ballads.

Hey guys, it's my first thread here so I hope I'm not misplacing it. Here's the thing, I've got a weakness/pure addiction for soft songs but what I'm looking for is those hidden gems that can't be found in mainstream radio. I know this is a subjective topic and idea but what I'm looking for is anything that is pretty. I have a preference for indie/folk or alternative ballads, even ballads from metal bands so it will show in the list that I wrote below.

Here a list of those songs that seem to bring the best feelings out of me. I hope you guys will find some beautiful songs in it and what I'd like to see is your list of "gems". By gems I mean which songs can't you live without, nostalgically wise or just songs that got to your soul. Doesn't matter if they fit my taste because they might please someone else. Please share those hidden gems that "most of the time" are not played on the radio and please note that some of the songs contained in my list are really well known; a lot of those songs are labelled as alternative, emo, simple but I see no point in judging an artist as long as the song brings the emotions:
