Well I grew up in Italy, and in the 80’s and early 90’s most of the cartoons that were shown on Italian TV were from japan.
So I guess
Dragon ball,
Kimagure Orange Road,
Captain Tsubasa
Doraemon
Daitarn 3 ……… to name but a few
