But yeah... you almost died dude.
I've been bit by black widows on occassion, usually just leaves a tiny scar and you have flu-like symptons for a couple days. Brown Recluses are far worse bites. My friend has a scar on his face to date and he was bitten as a teenager. Tarantulas are actually pretty docile and make good pets.
