OK not meaning to be sexist but Francis' situation reminds me of a joke I once heard.
God (for reasons unknown and unimportant) tells this guy you can have one wish, anything at all you want. So the guy says "Okay then. I want a bridge built right to the Heavens. I want to be able to walk up it, right to the top of the clouds, stroll across those clouds and walk into Heaven. I want to be able to visit, but not have to stay."
God looks at him like he's an idiot. "Holy crap man, I can't do that! Like, (yes, God is a hippy, deal with it!) ask me something I can actually achieve, ffs!" (And he knows internet speak -- are you losing the point of this joke?)
The man thinks. For a long time. Then he nods.
"I've got it," he says. "Instead of what I asked for, I want to know exactly how women think. I want to know what they mean when you ask them what's wrong and they say "nothing". I want to know how they work, how they see things, how to be able to completely satisfy them and how to work out what it is they want, even if they don't know themselves."
God thinks. For a long time. Finally he sighs "Ah **** it! How high did you want that bridge built?"
