Well look at it this way. Dashboard Confessional and Slayer are both rock bands right? But very very differnt styles. I admit sometimes catagories are very different. But explaining the a band to someone whose never heard will be alot easier if you can say their pretty metal-core or the play scremo style
And I consider ETID noise-core because it is a genre that has no prediefined limits. Hell The Locust are just noise. and their good and original but ETID? AMazing and noise-core (at least in my book)
