Hey all! I got this random idea today at work, I think it'll be rather fun. Someone will suggest a random historical figure and we will all suggest genres/artists/songs that that person would have liked, were the music we have today available in their era.
Try to provide a link to a biography of your historical person, unless not everyone knows them, as I am about to do.
I can start, and after it seems like a few good suggestions have been made and we come to a decent consensus, someone can propose a new famous figure.
