I don't have any particular preference of style, but I am learning the "slap and pop" technique.
I'm currently learning "Panic Station" by Muse, if anyone has any advice to offer when playing this song, feel free to share. =)
Problems I have encountered are very noisy strings when sliding (I've heard of flat-wound strings, but not sure if this necessary), or pulling fingers off them, large metal clunking sounds when slapping, and inability to control resonance when slapping strings.
Any suggestions for effect settings on my Zoom B2 distortion pedal are also very welcome.
My appreciation, amigos - thank you! ^_^

My bass looks at me like .. How come you don't do those things with me.
