I don't think they will make history in a musical sense but maybe the fact that they are German and have been one of the only german bands that have been recognized on a worldwide scale will get them inprinted in the history books.

If you can't deal with the fact that there are 6+ billion people in the world and none of them think exactly the same that's not my problem. Just deal with it yourself or make actual conversation.
