As far as open relationships go can be very successful but it definitely depends on how open minded the couple are and their high communication/love for each other. Being able to separate your feelings from sex helps alot. I was invited to be a live in bf for a couple in texas that swings regularly but I had to turn it down. There were too many factors going through my mind at that time. My biggest concern was what would happen if I fell in someone outside of our circle. There is a different kind of love that seems to be deeper in couples that are in open relationships as opposed to monogamous ones imo. The trust level is really through the roof.
