On top of the fact that she is a role model, she respects herself and she respects others.
You don't see her doing disgusting things or putting down other women like many female celebrities do.
Just because you CAN own your sexuality without showing off doesn't mean you have to do it without showing off. There's nothing wrong with being sexy. And my issue was that if someone has a problem letting their kids see the half-time show of Beyonce, then nothing about the entire program was appropriate for the child to see according to the parent.
The amount of overly sexual and inappropriate commercials was at a high, in my opinion. I'd rather my kids see the half-time show than a majority of those commercials. Especially the Go Daddy ones and many of the beer ones.
I think a would take more positive experiences from the show than they would from any of the sexist, racist, disgusting commercials that were on this year.
