Actually, I just saw transcript of Rep. Mike McCaul (Republican) making a statement about hearing reports of ball bearings, then proceeding to link what amounts to hear-say to the probability that it was a terrorist, which, to me, seems like an attempt to put a pre-conceived notion into people's minds before the facts are actually laid on the table.
I wasn't aware that BBC was reporting a Republican representative's unverified comments as fact. That sorta sucks.
