22. Sham 69 ,Genre (Punk Rock) London United Kingdom era, 70's

Cosmic Psychos Genre (Punk Rock) Australia, era 80's 90's

Often touted as the voice of the working class during the first wave of punk, Sham 69 brought in the shouting back up vocals and sing a longs that would be a precursor to the Oi! movement. I personally like them better than the Damned, but the Sex Pistols had a more aggressive tone to them, and Lydon was ultimately a better front man than Pursey. (ie see the Sham Pistols)

Cosmic Psychos

An Australian punk rock band that was brought to my attention in this forum. Upon hearing the track "nice day to go to the pub" I thought they were going to be a straight up oi! band, but they actually have a psychedelic tinge in their music.
