I do think he's crossed over to some extent, but the good thing about that is that he's brought a hint of Jamaican music to people who might otherwise have no contact with it. By the way, your post indicates that you are Jamaican. I'd like to no what you think of ska music (which is the roots of all modern Jamaican music). I find it strange that the vast majority of ska fans these days are white (like myself). Do any young Jamaicans like it, or do they just see it as their parents' or grandparents' music?
