i sing and play guitar a lot, and lately I've been getting into piano more and more. I took piano lessons for 7 years, and now that i'm doing it on my own time, i'm enjoying it a whole lot more. every now and then i'll sing for a friend's band, if they're playing a softer song or something. I love guitar, and I love piano, but i'm just not accomplished enough to really be able to use them to the full extent and express a lot of feeling because i'm often too concerned with the technical aspects of playing. with singing, its just so easy and so freeing to not have to worry about messing up on a note or missing a beat and just be able to go with it.
