Paths of Glory
This was great, a much better and more believable WWI film than All Quiet On The Western Front (though that film was good for its time). Loved the cinematography as always, though there weren't many idiosyncratic "Kubrick shots" other than near the end. For a 1950's war film, I can't see it getting much better than this.
