True, but there also can exist personal classics right? Some albums I'm super nostalgic about and they serve as classics for me (like Smashing Pumpkins' "Adore" for example) but at the same time I can recognize that they aren't overall/general classics.

@Manky: "Classic" is definitely a polarizing term and whenever a good album gets dropped, (especially in hip hop) people start throwing around the "classic" term like main street hookers throw STDs. I'm not gonna lie though, I love debating on what is "classic" and what merits a classic album must have. To me, for an album to be a surefire classic, it has to stand the test of time.
