I have the first B/W well White and I was thinking about getting the second one but I passed it up for a different type of RPG. Tales of the Abyss.
The same way you are about the 3DS is the way I was about Kid Icuras but I bought mines earlier and mostly just for that game. There is some silly miniature pokemon game out but I'm not buying that crap. There is also another Mystery Dungeon type game where you control the pokemon itself instead of having a main character.
I don't even know which version I'll be getting X or Y yet. I would offer you my friend code but I don't know if I want to get beat by a girl =/
