Actually last night I found out that most women (well at least the ones I spoke w/) share your pov that oral is more intimate than sex & they were more likely to have sex w/ a guy they don't know than give oral to a guy they know & come to think about it I do have the same standards when it comes to women so I understand what you're saying.
