So I rewatched THE WILD PARROTS OF TELEGRAGH HILL again last night. I balled my eyes out all over again, when his best friend and parrot bites the bullet. Its the story of a homeless man that is taken in by a lady that has an old loft in the Frisco area. He immediately befriends all of the parrots in the area and starts to caretake for the wounded and older ones. Its a very inspiring story of not only what humans can do for one another in need but also, people who still do the right thing with regard to animals. Total gut check everytime I watch it and an inspiring true story.
