Vampire Weekend seriously just get better with each subsequent record they make. Their self-titled debut showed them as preppy, polo-wearing self indulgent young men who listened to a lot of afro-pop records. Contra showed a bit more maturation, but Modern Vampires of The City is the perfect balance of what made their first two records so worthwhile, but way more than just that. It's looking to be my favorite record of theirs after maybe another listen or two.
