Haywire
Steven Soderbourgh seriously loves yellow/orange hue. Almost every shot was dripping in this hazy color and it struck me that his movies look very similar. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but just an observation. I thought this was a serviceable action film mostly based on the fight scenes coming off very realistic. The fight scene between Carano and Fassbender was especially impressive. The script was pretty bland and boring though. It was a film carried by it's direction and action scenes. I didn't really care about any characters or what happened to them at all. Overall not a bad watch.

Wreck it Ralph
Very enjoyable animated film. This just goes to show that last year was a great year for animated film. I loved most of the old video game nods and the voice work was great. Alan Tudyk's Ed Wynn impression was pretty spot on. The little girl was adorable too. I enjoyed it.

Going by the Book
Okay, I was surprised by this one. This was hilarious and the premise of the story was original and executed perfectly. After a string of bank robberies a South Korean city decides to do some intense training with their banks and police force. It is decided that one police officer will be chosen at random to portray a bank robber and rob a bank. The bank would be ready for it but they are to carry on and carry out the robbers orders without fear of being hurt. The police will then try to catch the robber without the fear of losing hostages. The police officer chosen to be the robber though is a perfectionist and does the job to the complete best of his ability. It's hilarious and completely unique. I laugh out loud multiple times. It's on instant netflix so there is a good chance most of you could see it. I advise you to do so.
