When my grandparents died they left my brother and I some property and the tax we had to pay on the inheritance was hefty so we decided to get rid of a few of the properties. We didn't even have to think about it, there was no debate we automatically knew we should dump the properties in Jersey ASAP.

And no offense to the people who suffered from that storm Sandy, but thank god we dumped those properties b/c one of them was on the shore and I'm sure it was wrecked. My point being I've seen the best of Jersey and I take the worst of NY any day over the horror that s NJ.
