Unfortunately, Phil Specter destroyed the original master tapes of Baby It's You, along with the master tapes of many his other recording sessions, while running amok in one of his LSD fueled freakouts in the late Sixties. Specter's act of "creative destruction" of the original master tapes has made it impossible, even for the most brilliant sound engineer, to remaster and restore the sound of those Specter produced songs to their original high fidelity glory.
