meh it engages me. I will admit it a lot of the metalcore sounds the same, it isn't necessarily a bad thing. It just means a lot of bans have the same goal with their music. I honestly find that a lot of power metal sounds the same, and a lot of power metal songs follow the same formula.
But the thing that bugs me is, why do people who aren't metalcore fans care that bands like Attack Attack and Asking Alexandria exist. It doesn't effect them. There's always gunna be new trash and power metal bands on the scene, and there's always gunna be a market for Iron Maiden to make a new album, so why does it matter?
