One thing i noticed when i purchase songs thru itunes then burn it onto a disc is it doesnt have the best sound quality. The bass isnt as clear, loud, and the whole thing lacks slightly in surround sound. It is still comparable, especially since you paid for the song legally but id much rather buy an entire CD of an artist at the depatment stores even if it is just for one or two tracks.
I have suspicions about artist compilation CDs not sounding as best as they could.
Yes, it is to boost their sales probably.
