Surely there has to be around 20 mins running time missing from this film as it clocked in at a mere 83 mins and feels rushed. The budget for this was less than half of the original so maybe that's it which is a shame. The direction and set design was decent enough but it severely lacked atmosphere and the fact that the characters used exposition dialogue every ten minutes robbed the film of any sense of foreboding and interest. Shame.
I lasted about 25 mins so maybe this shouldn't be posted but note to film makers : if you are going to use hand held cameras constantly then don't have scenes in the film where the shots are seemingly not from any camera source at all. It defeats the purpose and Gyllenhaal looks terrible with a shaved head.
