The Builders and the Butchers -
Western Medicine (2013)
This is really starting to grow on me, so I'm thinking I was just not in the mood for music when I first listened to it. I've always liked this band, at least after their first album, but I was worried they had peaked with their 2009 album
Salvation Is A Deep Dark Well, because their next two albums just weren't quite as good or memorable. I might have to revisit them to see if I missed some diamonds, but in the mean time I'm going to be listening to
Western Medicine because god damn it is good.
If you're looking for some good Americana/folk music then I would highly recommend this, a great mixture of Appalachian, country, bluegrass, and folk.
